Through the efforts of the Hospitality Team (Greeters) our church has the privilege of creating an atmosphere of warmth and personal acceptance for each guest and church member. Our Greeters are often the first to welcome people as they arrive at each service. Always at the door with a smile, a friendly "Hello"or "Good Morning, we're glad you're here" or "Thank you for coming". They do so much more than give out bulletins. They make everyone feel welcome, help them find a place for their children, and introduce them to new family and friends. Our Greeters are also on the front line helping with the evangelistic work of the church. People who are greeted warmly, shown a concern for the safety and wellbeing of their children are more likely to be open and receptive to the gospel during the worship service. To learn more about our Hospitality Team or to volunteer, contact Sandy West at 843.340.9745.

Meets every Monday morning at 10:00 am in the Fellowship Hall for a time of devotion and to encourage and uplift others by praying for them, sending cards, prayer letters and making phone calls to absentees. On-going projects and frequent outings are also a part of this ministry. Our Food Pantry exists as an emergency resource to help our church family first, then those in the community with urgent needs. To be effective, the pantry must be continually replenished. If you would like to donate any of the non-perishable items listed below, please bring them to the church and place them in the box in the front lobby. Please purchase small size items only.
In order for us to help as many people as possible, recipients must complete a Benevolence Request Form and help is only available once every two months. To request assistance, stop by the church office at 2051 Forestbrook Road or call 843.236.2224 to set up an appointment.
The Adult Choir incorporates a blended style of music which includes traditional hymns and comtemporary arrangements. A formal audition is not required; only a short meeting with the Music Minister to determine which part you would be best-suited to sing. We also have Praise Teams made up of soloists and small groups and a Praise Band. If you love to sing or can play a musical instrument and are interested in being a part of the Worship Ministry, contact T. J. Skeen for more information.
The Media Team is a group of volunteers who are responsible for sound, lighting, multimedia presentations and video production. If you are talented in this area and would like to be part of this team, contact the church office at 843.236.22244.
Safety/Security is becoming increasingly important for churches. From acts of violence and vandalism to disruption of services, there has been a steady increase in security threats to churches across the country. That's why it is important for every church to plan ahead and think carefully about safety and security, with emphasis on protecting children. In an effort to make our services and facilities a safer and more secure environment in which to worship, and because "Safety Matters", Forestbrook has implemented a Safety Team whose goal is to identify, evaluate and control a variety of situations before they escalate into a serious incident.
